BRAND NEW SIN Prepare For BLACK LABEL SOCIETY Tour; New Video To Make Its 'Headbanger's Ball' D

October 6, 2005

The Syracuse-based quintet BRAND NEW SIN are currently preparing themselves for the hard rock tour of the year with BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, which kicks off in St. Petersburg, Fla. on October 14. This Guitar World-sponsored five-week, major-market trek will coincide with the Active Rock campaign for the single "Days Are Numbered", taken from the group's highly acclaimed new album "Recipe for Disaster". Look for a video for the track, shot by acclaimed director Dale Resteghini (SHADOWS FALL, HATEBREED),to make its "Headbanger's Ball" debut this Saturday, October 8 at 10:00 p.m. EST/7:00 p.m. PST.

Joe Altier (vocals) checks in with the following report: "Hello to all! We are resting safe in Syracuse and I think we have all gone into hibernation mode in order to prepare ourselves for what will be a tour to end all tours with our brothers in BLACK LABEL SOCIETY. Booze, beer, condiment baseball games and a shitload of great shows are in store. We again thank the whole BLACK LABEL family for giving this opportunity to take BRAND NEW SIN to the next level. We are feeling 'it,' so to speak. We also want to take this time and thank our brothers in LIFE OF AGONY and BLOODSIMPLE for one hell of a mini tour. It brought back a lot of old school memories.

"We are also happy to announce that the 'Days Are Numbered' video will be debuting on 'Headbanger's Ball' this week. It will be the third video that night, so either watch early or fire up your Tivo, digital cable, or for us still in the 20th century, your VCR. So please stay tuned for more updates, as I will be checking in every few days on the BLS tour to let you know who just had their stomach pumped. We hope to see you all soon."

BRAND NEW SIN — who recently headlined the Syracruise bike rally ("Central New York's largest annual motorcycle event") in their hometown — are no strangers to BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, who recently played to thousands of fans each night on the main stage of Ozzfest. The group played nine shows BLS three years ago in support of their self-titled debut, including an infamous Detroit gig at which BLACK LABEL SOCIETY filmed its first live DVD — a show at which the crowd depleted the venue's entire beer supply.

This tour caps off what is already a tremendous 2005 that has also seen the group tour alongside MOTÖRHEAD, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, ZEKE, LIFE OF AGONY and SCUM OF THE EARTH, among others.
